Every time you exit your safe zone, your character will leave behind a trail of paint. Once you reenter your zone, all of the ground captured within the loop you’ve drawn will turn your color and become part of your territory. However, as long as you are outside of your own territory and your tail is exposed, you are vulnerable to attacks from other players. If a player crossed through your tail, you’ll be killed. You’ll lose all of your territory, and will have to start over. Most of the time, being too greedy doesn’t end well, because you’ll be very vulnerable to attacks. Be cautious: stay close to your territory and duck in and out regularly to reduce the risk of being cut off. Nibble away at other players’ territories when they’re not in sight. If you see a player with a long trail, use the opportunity to swoop in and cut them off. That way they’ll lose all of their territory in one blow. Their ranking on the leaderboard will drop all the way down, leaving room for you to climb higher! If possible, move around the edges of the area. This will give you more cover as you stealthily make your way around the arena and add more ground to your territory. It is possible to reach 100% possession, but it won’t be easy.
